Bio

Tara Norris is a play-maker on the USA squad. The left-handed allrounder holds her own with both ball and bat and is a fierce competitor. Her introduction to cricket occurred in primary school at age eight, and she's focused on individual goals she is yet to accomplish while playing competitive cricket as part of the USA squad.

As a left-arm swing bowler, Tara has played for the England Women’s Academy, Southern Vipers, Southern Brave, Loughborough Lightning, Sussex, and the USA. She’s a big fan of former England captain Sir Alastair Cook and likes the team atmosphere cricket provides and the individual skills involved in the sport.

She considers it a privilege to play for her birth country and share it with fantastic team members. She notes among her favorite cricket moments, playing in a Hundred final at Lords in front of 20,000 spectators and being on the USA team vs. Zimbabwe in the 2021 ICC’s ODI Qualifier in Zimbabwe, highlighting the pressure, high standard of play, and the nail-biting conclusion of that game.
