The USA Cricket Board of Directors will include 10 Directors who will be representative of all USA Cricket stakeholders and will be tasked with the governance and strategic direction of the organization. Specifically, the Board will have two Player Directors (one female, one male), three Independent Directors (at least one must be female), one League Director, one Club Director and three Individual Directors. Seven of these positions will be elected by the USA Cricket membership as of April 24, 2018 while the three Independent Directors will be recommended by the previously announced Nominating and Governance Committee.
Nomination materials are due from the constituent Director candidates by no later than May 8, 2018 while Independent Director nominations are due by May 31. All nomination materials should be submitted via email to [email protected]. Other key dates in the process are as follows but are subject to change subtly should factors dictate:
8 May – Closing deadline to receive nominations and candidate statements for the first set of seven constituent Board Directors
13 May – Eligible candidates for seven constituent Board Director positions announced by the Nominating and Governance Committee
18 May – USA Cricket elections start
28 May – Initial election ends
1 June – Run-off election starts (if required)
8 June – Run-off election ends
11 June – Seven constituent Board members election winners announced
