Following the announcement of the commencement of the USA Cricket Board election, and in the interests of transparency and inclusiveness, the Nominating & Governance Committee wishes to provide the following updates: 

• International Players eligible to vote for the Male Player Director

This report here provides a list of the male cricketers that: (1) have represented the men’s national USA senior team in any international cricket match or event recognized or sanctioned by the ICC; and (2) are current individual members of USA Cricket.  Such players meet the definition of “International Player” in the USA Cricket Constitution and are therefore eligible to vote for the male Player Director in the upcoming elections. 

The NGC encourages all interested parties to review this list to ensure that it accurately describes the correct status of all relevant male cricketers and former cricketers.  If you believe there are errors with either your own record or that of any other person (whether on the list or not), please send an email to [email protected] by no later than close of business on January 6, 2020.  All cases will be reviewed by the NGC before the final list of eligible voters is published and the voting commences.

• Individual Members eligible to vote for the Individual Director

Work is still in progress to produce the list of all individual members eligible to vote for the Individual Director in the upcoming election.  It is anticipated that this list will be published by the NGC for peer review within the next few days.

• Call for applications for the post of Independent Director 

Any individual who wishes to be considered for the post of Independent Director is invited to submit their application for consideration by the Nominating and Governance Committee by no later than close of business on January 6, 2020.  Details of the Eligibility Criteria and an application form can be found by clicking here.  All applications should be made through the following e-mail address: [email protected]
