- Second cohort of the Level 1: Umpiring Fundamentals Course now open for registration

Following on from the recent announcement of the first batch of successfully certified Level 1: Umpiring Fundamentals participants, USA Cricket is pleased to announce that registration for a second cohort of the course is now open.
In an effort to streamline both the registration and delivery of the course, participants are now able to register themselves by creating an account on the Moodle platform, and then signing up for the relevant course modules through the ‘Site Home’ tab on their Moodle dashboard.
To further democratize access to learning materials USA Cricket have made all theory modules open and free to access for all aspiring umpires. However, to sit the online exam and qualify for your Level 1 Certificate you must pay the $75 fee.
The final stage of the certification process involves those who have passed the online exam attending a 3-hour online instructor led module. Dates for the instructor-led modules and registration details will be announced in early June, and to be eligible to register for this final stage in the process you must successfully pass the online exam by 12am Midnight 31st May, 2022.
The course includes:
- 13 Self-paced online modules hosted on the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) about the Laws of the game.
- A 50 question Online Examination relating to the 13 Self-paced modules
- The following nationally recognized health and safety courses:
- A 3-hour instructor lead group session (remote/online)
