Jaskaran Malhotra has been ruled out of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 series at the Moosa Stadium in Texas due to injury. Malhotra has sadly suffered a hairline fracture of the left hand while fielding during the first practice match ahead of the series. Following medical assessment, he has been advised a recovery time of 3-4 weeks and has therefore been ruled out of the series in Houston.
He has been replaced by the 18 year old batter from New Jersey, Saiteja Mukkamalla who stands in line to make an international debut for the Men’s senior side during the series. The full 14 man Team USA Squad can be found.
