Paras Khadka is the long serving captain of the Nepal National Men’s cricket team, and one of the most respected players and individuals in the associate cricket world. He has played against #TeamUSA on several occasions, and spent a season playing cricket in Toronto.
Here’s his answers to the #SixHitter questions.
1.Tell us how you got involved in Cricket, what’s your role/association now?
Always played the sport from a very young age. Started with age group U-15 Nepal on their tour to Dubai, December 2002. Current designation: Captain Nepal Cricket Team
2. Describe yourself in three words
Honest, passionate and determined.
3. What is your earliest cricket memory?
Going on a Saturday to watch my dad play cricket with his friends.
4. What is your favourite cricket moment of all time?
Qualifying for theT-20 World Cup in Bangladesh.
5. What is the one development you would like to see in domestic cricket, and in international cricket?
Have first class cricket system where players get to play regular domestic tournament and in International cricket maybe AN ASSOCIATE PREMIER LEAGUE like the IPL.
6. Where do see cricket in the USA in 10 years’ time?
With so much talent in the country, if you set up a proper cricket structure and governance you will see US cricket a force to be reckoned with.
